LACYN BARTON

Passion has always played a part in Lacyn's life.

 

A cowgirl raised in Colorado, horse training was the family business growing up. With a passion for horses and adventure, Lacyn was a Rodeo Queen in Colorado and a Champion Mounted Shooter.

 

A life-changing horse training accident changed her view of the world when she suffered a traumatic brain injury. After waking from a coma, Lacyn turned to art as a form of cognitive therapy and painting soon became a passion.

She was seventeen when she found her calling in funeral service and Lacyn has been a funeral director for more than 20 years.

 

She continues to paint her passions in life, and when she's not on-the-clock suporting funeral homes or pouring her heart into a memorial portrait after hours in her art studio, it's an almost certain bet that Lacyn is out riding one of her Vespas!
